The
army of United States of America joined the war in 1917. The United States
remained independent country that join in the efforts of end the war in Europe.
They sent the army of 4,000,000 million military personnel led by General
Pershing. In 1915, the German U-boat sunk the British passenger ship, Lusitania
with 128 American citizen aboard and still the United States remain their
neutrality and President Wilson only said he do not tolerate on unrestricted
submarine warfare. This neutrality act ended when Germany in January 1917, sent
telegram to Mexico to join the war effort to annihilate the United States of
America. The name of the telegram is Zimmerman telegram as the foreign minister
of German Empire name, Arthur Zimmerman. The United States Army join several
battle such as Battle of Chateau-Thierry, Belleau Wood and Sechault, the name
of the unit that join in with French Division is The Harlem Hellfighters. When the war ended, The United States did not
ratify the Treaty of Versailles and was separately sign a treaty with the
German Empire
